Introducing Daily Drop Pro

We’ve all been there. You’re looking for the perfect flight to get you to your destination, but you’ve got 15 tabs open on your laptop 😵‍💫

What routes are available? What airlines service that route? What partner airlines are options? How many points are needed to book economy on this airline? And what about this other airline? Or what bank can I transfer points from to snag that business class seat??

These are likely questions we’ve all gone through during the planning phase, and honestly, it’s just freaking exhausting. Overwhelming, really.

There are some known tools out there to make this process a little easier on your part, but there’s really never been a resource that will comprehensively integrate all the information you’re seeking in one place.

My friends, with happy tears in my eyes, I now present to you that one (very) special place—Daily Drop Pro.

Throughout this article, I’m going to walk you through what Daily Drop Pro is, what features it includes, and how I’ve booked a real-life itinerary using it.

Let’s get started 😎

What is Daily Drop Pro?

In the simplest of terms, Daily Drop Pro was created to be your one-stop shop to easily search for flights and hotels (whether with points or cash), receive deal alerts, and engage with a like-minded community—all integrated into one, easy-to-use tool.

Daily Drop Pro has five main features:

Let’s look at how you can utilize each feature to make planning (and booking!) your next trip a breeze.

Plus, if you’re into that sultry, dark-mode look, you’re going to love spending time inside the Daily Drop Pro site 😍

This functions similarly to how you’d search the cash price of multiple flights and airlines on Google Flights. However, on Daily Drop Pro, you’ll be searching multiple airline points programs to show all the different possibilities of miles and points redemptions across different routes, airlines, and alliances.

As I dive into using Daily Drop Pro, I’m going to show you how I found and booked an actual flight I’ll be taking early next year!

I knew I needed to be back in Europe around March, but I was open to first flying into any major city to then connect to my final destination.

I immediately began different searches from my home airport of Vancouver (YVR) to London, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt…

And when searching for flights to Frankfurt, look what I found 😏

I decided to filter my results by fare class (business) and by shortest duration, and I was presented with a ton of different flight options.

Lo and behold, there was a non-stop flight in Lufthansa business class for just 63,000 miles and $44.90 in taxes and fees if I booked through Avianca LifeMiles 👀

You’ll also notice that I was presented with the same exact flight, but through United, for far more points—88,000.

Had I just gone to United’s page and searched this flight, I may not have known that there was a better deal out there.

Daily Drop Pro did all the work and gave me the shortest flight with the best points deal all around.

From here, I can easily select my flight, and I’m also given the option to compare the cash price.

This exact flight would cost me $6,269 if I were paying in cash 🤯

So if we use our calculation to find the value of our points ($6,269 cash price - $44.90 taxes and fees / 63,000 miles = .0987), I’m getting a value of nearly 10 cents per point!

That is CRAZY good.

I’m then prompted to follow the remaining steps of logging into my Avianca LifeMiles account, followed by selecting my payment method of transferring Amex points to my Avianca account.

Daily Drop Pro even tells me to refresh my Avianca account to ensure my points have made it over!

Again, I’m shown the exact search I need to put in on Avianca’s site to populate the flight that Daily Drop Pro found for me 👇

It is literally the easiest thing to do and provides you with step-by-step instructions for the entire process.

Frankfurt, here I come (in business class!).

If you’ve got a destination and dates in mind, you can head over to the hotel tab to run a search that will give you results for all hotels and programs available to book with points—all in one spot 😏

For my trip to Krakow, Poland, I simply put in my dates and was presented with a comprehensive list of all hotels across all programs available to book with points during my selected dates.

I also have the option to filter my results by points program, points value, and distance from the city center.

Additionally, I’ll be alerted of any awards, perks, or benefits I have available to use based on what cards I’ve loaded into my Daily Drop Pro Wallet (more on that next!).

This saves me the hassle of flipping back and forth between different hotel websites to find the best award deal. Seriously, does it get any simpler than this?

No. The answer is no 🤗

Wallet & Points

Okay, this is cool. Even I struggle with keeping my different credit card accounts straight when it comes to knowing how many points I have and where I have them.

The Wallet feature allows you to link your different accounts (think Chase, American Express, Capital One, Marriott Bonvoy, Hyatt, etc.) and have them all displayed in one place.

You also have the option to link specific credit cards here that will help remind you of various perks, credits, and other benefits—like a Free Night Award—when it comes time to book.

If you click on the Banks tab, you’ll also be able to see exactly how many points you have in your different accounts if you’ve linked them with Daily Drop Pro.

Deal Alerts

Using your miles and points is great, but sometimes you’re just looking for a cheap cash deal.

This is especially helpful if you have some flexibility built in, and truly want to let the deal decide the destination.

You’ll be able to select up to ten home airports that you can receive deals from. Plus, you’ll be able to filter by specific regions (Europe, Asia, Africa, etc.), set max prices for different fare classes, and even select preferred months for travel.

If you find something you like, you’ll be taken to the standard Google Flights page where you can make your own decision about where to book the flight—whether that’s direct with the airline or through a third-party booking platform.

This tool is highly customizable and ensures that only the best deals will be sent your way when you want them 🙌
